Textile Recycling Equipment

Optical Sorters

Utilising the best available NIR and camera technology with maintenance friendly design, our optical sorter machine identifies and sorts materials based on material type, composition and color to a high quality level of purity and recovery.

Rotary Cutters

The rotary cutters cut the textile material into smaller pieces which allows for improved processing of the upstream equipment.

Blending Box

Mixes the textile material to improve consistency and throughput of the material going to the next stages of processing.

Tearing Machine

Separates the fibres by tearing the textile material apart with a series of spiked rotating drums. Generally there will be a series of these machines in a line which enables the fibres to be separated from each other.

Hard Point Removal

As textile have buttons, zippers and other hard objects attached to them these items need to be removed from the textile stream. This is undertaken by a series of processes which include density separation, magnets and screening.

Balers

Balers compress and bundle the processed textile materials / fibre into compact bales, which makes handling, storage, and transportation more efficient. Baled textiles are also easier to manage and can be easily transported manufacturers for further processing.

Dust and Filtration Management

Containing and extracting the dust from each step of the process in an important process in the recycling of textile materials. The dust is captured at each machine and pneumatically transferred to a filtration system which removes the solid and dust particles. Spark detection and sprinkler system should also be included in the system to reduce the possibility of fire.
