Role of Compactors in Transfer Station
Maximizing Operational Efficiency
Reducing Transportation Costs
Material Recovery for Recycling
By producing uniform, dense loads, stationary waste compactors make it easier to separate and transport recyclable materials such as cardboard, paper, and plastics. This improved handling supports higher recovery rates and better quality of recyclables for downstream processing facilities.

OGTEC TS4
OGTEC TS8
The OGTEC TS8 is a heavy-duty stationary compactor engineered for large-scale transfer station operations. It offers an 8.0 m³ chamber volume with a working capacity of up to 480 m³/hr, doubling the throughput of the TS4. The clear top opening is 2800L x 1850W mm, enabling the handling of larger waste volumes, complemented by an extended container/trailer penetration depth of 1500 mm. The pack blade face size measures 1980W x 1060H mm, driven by a robust 254 mm bore diameter cylinder. Similar to the TS4, it operates at 120 bar (maximum 150 bar) for powerful compaction. This model has overall dimensions of 8500L x 2200W x 2000H mm, a cycle time of 60 seconds, and is powered by a 55 kW motor. With a weight of 16.0 tonnes, the TS8 is built for maximum efficiency, durability, and performance in demanding facilities handling large quantities of cardboard and paper or plastic recycling materials, as well as bulk waste transferred.
